Reporting to the Senior Manager, Practice Development & Recruiting, the Business Programs Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing competitive recruiting initiatives for the PIA, PIC and WISI businesses and supporting the field management teams. This role will assist and support the Senior Manager with process improvements on approvals, partner engagement and identifying target candidate profiles for Branch Managers and Market Managers related to advisor and EPA recruiting.

Key responsibilities of the Manager will include:
  • Manage, develop and execute competitive recruiting initiatives for the PIA, PIC and WISI businesses
  • Act as a key reference point and subject matter expert for competitive recruiting
  • Provide business subject matter expertise on various organizing committees in the development and delivery of competitive recruiting programs
  • Liaise with other subject matter experts, internally and externally, to understand applicable regulations relating to competitive recruiting
  • Ensure business and partners are provided with high quality advice and support
  • Develop policies and procedures for Competitive recruiting programs
  • Develop candidate sourcing approach/program for Competitive Recruits and implement in field
  • Partner with Women's Segment Strategy and Talent Acquisition to develop and implement Woman Advisor Recruitment Strategy for competitive recruits
  • Develop competitive recruit pipeline reporting and communication strategy for National Office and field leadership teams
  • Define requirements for Pre-Offer Proposal (POP) tool to structure competitive recruit offers
  • Consult with Branch Managers to develop deal structures for competitive recruit candidates
  • Consult with Branch leadership on competitive recruiting strategy and ideal candidate based on needs of the branch/business plan
  • Keep abreast of Industry trends/insights on competitive hire deal sizes and disruptors with competitive firms
  • Develop Marketing strategy to acquire competitive recruits at a national/regional/branch level - leveraging contact management and social media tools - align acquisition model to diversity & inclusion strategy
  • Develop and evolve governance framework for Competitive Recruit approval process and deal size parameters
  • Develop National/Regional Reporting for Competitive recruit hires
  • • Other general duties to support competitive recruiting such as participation in overall strategy, design, development and implementation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline end to end processes across PIA, PIC and WISI
  • Define, document & implement policies and procedures for competitive recruiting while adhering to IIROC regulatory requirements
  • Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirement
  • Act as business co-lead for internal conferences including Leadership Conferences, Executive Club Recognition & Reward Trip, Annual Priority Council Offsite, President's Club Roundtable, and other PWM conferences as required
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing to develop and execute internal engagement strategies supporting business priorities, conferences, and recognition programs
