Brainhunter is currently seeking "Business Systems Analyst" to work for our valued Client. The position requires the successful consultant to be on-site 3 days a week in Toronto.

Any specific tools/skillset:
    • Degree in related discipline (Commerce/Management Information Systems, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent combination of training and experience
    • Good understanding of business principles and experience with a broad range of different types of business functions
    • Understanding of general IT project methodologies, processes and practices
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills that rely on a structured approach to problem solving
    • Effective internal consulting skills with a strong customer service orientation
    • Communicates in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbal, that is appropriate for the audience
    • Good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Ability to adapt to change and perform effectively under pressure
    • Effective planning and organizational skills
    • Good understanding of information technology/information systems

Role profile description:

The Business Systems Analyst maintains a "business perspective" through all phases of the problem resolution and systems enhancement. Business Systems Analysts work closely understand business needs, opportunities, and requirements. Working in a team environment, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for:
    • Representing the business' requirements
    • Defining and designing the business functionality of the system
    • Ensuring that the system meets the defined business requirements
    • Defining business problems/opportunities, providing a clear definition and performing benefit analysis
    • Performing business and systems analysis and design, articulating the logical design alternatives and recommending appropriate solutions
    • Performing functional analysis and design, defining and documenting detailed business requirements
    • Performing functional testing of system changes and supporting user acceptance testing of those changes
    • Contributing to training strategies and business implementation planning
    • Create processes from audit findings and document them
    • Gather requirements from business to create business requirements documentation
    • We would like a BSA who is OK with creating/writing process documentation. Don't want someone who is going to gather other people's notes and edit/format them
    • Want to be able to give them output from an audit and have them drive out the process and document it
