As a Tax Services Senior, you will be a part of our Diversified Staff Group. Your key responsibilities




Your role as a Tax Services Senior will give you the opportunity to combine corporate tax work with structured and virtual learning. You will have the opportunity to combine tax engagements with structured learning. You'll get experience in tax compliance, tax accrual review, calculating income tax provision and tax planning. Our people focus on the main issues affecting our clients, paying particular attention to the implementation of tax strategies aligned with their business objectives.

Skills and attributes for success

    • Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns • Prepare a variety of prescribed forms • Prepare personal and trust tax returns • Analyze notices of assessment • Research tax issues • Communicate with tax authorities • Assist in tax planning engagements • Discuss moderately complex tax questions with the engagement team and client management • Stay current on news in tax and effectively apply tax knowledge to situations affecting clients • Suggest practical, effective and client-focused solutions and draw relevant conclusions




To qualify for the role you must have



    Bachelor's degree specializing in accounting CPA/CA designation Excellent analytical, multi-tasking, communication, organizational, teamwork and interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and good knowledge of English PC proficiency including MS Excel and Word Ability to manage time spent against budget and work with team members to ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner


Ideally, you'll also have



    CICA In-Depth Tax Course completed or underway would be an asset, or Master's in Tax
