Job summary
We are looking for a Front End Engineer to help write the future that is Serverless as a part of the AWS Step Functions team. This is an opportunity to lead a passionate, entrepreneurial, and customer obsessed group working at the heart of the Serverless revolution.

Key job responsibilities
You design and deliver improvements to the Step Functions management console, including the Workflow Studio low-code visual builder.

A day in the life
You collaborate with Product Managers and customers to understand needs and design solutions. You partner with User Experience experts to refine and optimize customer experiences. You lead projects to design and deliver user experience enhancements that delight customers and improve the productivity of cloud developers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of professional experience in front end software development/engineering

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience designing and building fault-tolerant distributed systems (but don't worry, we'll train you if you meet the basic qualifications)
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with front-end technologies and frameworks like React, Redux, Ember or Angular and RESTful web services
