What you will do
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $112,000 to $182,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.

What you will do
- Lead the design and development of enterprise-level data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time analytics platforms, using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure.
- Design, develop, adapt, and maintain data warehouse architecture and relational databases that support data mining.
- Perform solution shaping and data architecture, including estimation, solution planning, and creation of statements of work to meet customer requirements.
- Support pre-sales efforts by providing product, technical, and business expertise for proposals, customer presentations, and/or tailored software demonstrations.
- Lead delivery teams and mentor a young and talented delivery team, providing them with leadership, knowledge, support, and experience.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in data architecture technologies, products, and trends.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in our data architecture processes, and proactively recommend strategies for optimization and efficiency.
- 10+ years of consulting experience with data architecture for enterprise customers.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures and data migration projects with modern data platform.
- Experience in providing pre-sales support, including developing proposals and conducting demonstrations for data architecture solutions.
- Experience with scoping, estimating, cost analysis, and resource planning of projects.
- Experience in leading delivery teams.
- Proficiency in Data Integration (Sourcing, Storage, and Migration) and Data Quality, Profiling, and Cleansing.
- Strong understanding of cloud analytics and data management.
- Proficiency in using SQL and Python.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate commercial requirements into technical solutions including the ability to communicate technical concepts and their impact to stakeholders at all levels.
- Hands-on experience with data processing and analytics using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake or Azure Databricks is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- A university degree with a preference for Computer Science or related field.
- Microsoft Certifications on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Engineer are highly desirable
