Job Description:

The Colleague Journey sits in Human Resources and focuses on delivering market-leading experiences for candidates, recruiters, hiring managers and colleagues. Our vision is to unlock individual and organizational potential by connecting the best talent to the right opportunity. The Product Owner will oversee the work of a team dedicated to the promotion of TD Jobs and sourcing of candidates, and the hiring of candidates.

In this role, you will:
  • Bring the voice of the candidate and colleague to every experience, and champion our employer brand
  • Partner with leaders to shape the target state roadmap, ensuring the roadmap is ambitious, feasible and deeply connected to enhancing the colleague and candidate experience
  • Partner with key stakeholders to design and implement technology-enabled solutions across the Talent Acquisition lifecycle
  • Provide guidance to a cross-functional team, engaging them for their expertise while driving ideation, providing feedback on their work, helping navigate challenges, risks and deliver value and outcomes.
  • Conduct research to inform the product roadmap and backlog, while keeping abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and impacts
  • Engage and align stakeholders to deliver incremental value, seeking continuous feedback from the colleague and candidate to improve the end product, being resilient and open to feedback that can enhance the final product
  • Create and maintain product backlog and continuously re-prioritize work that will provide the most value to candidates and colleagues
  • Lead the submission and discussion on the Quarterly Business Review, with respect to their product area
  • Proactively manage a variety of complex stakeholder relationships to obtain alignment and inputs needed for product development in a timely manner
  • Monitor the regulatory environment and partner with senior leaders to identify the impact or opportunities related to roadmap and products
  • Manage issues and risks and proactively raise these to leadership, determining proposed mitigation plans to blockers
  • Embody Agile principles of transparency, collaboration, and engagement, and a deep appreciation for how the Agile and NEW (Next evolution of work) models influence and impact outcomes
  • Be data obsessed, reviewing data to continuously improve and champion strategies to enhance experiences
  • Play a leadership role in scrum events, express new ideas for improving outcomes and the way we work
  • Use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify solutions that apply to the TD context

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • 3-5 years Product or Agile related delivery experience
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and project management experience considered an asset
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience operating in scaled agile delivery considered an asset
  • Hands-on experience working with ATS platforms (i.e. Workday) and knowledge of integrations within the TA ecosystem (i.e. CRM) is considered an asset
