Responsibilities :
  • Analyses business information requirements and resolves them with the delivery of effective business solutions by:
  • Advising users where and how to best obtain information.
  • Utilizing problem-solving and development skills to provide ad-hoc solutions where appropriate.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving business processes and information sources by anticipating potential business needs and/or efficiencies and then proposing and developing appropriate solutions.
  • Minimizing information duplication and fragmentation and ensuring that solutions fit within the information systems framework and recommend systems enhancements where appropriate.
  • Assist the IT Manager, Digital and Data Services in guiding system development solutions to successful implementation by analyzing business requirements, developing system specifications, system designing, programming, testing, reviewing with users, ensuring user acceptance, implementing documentation and training.
  • Understanding business processes and incorporating this knowledge into business solutions.
  • Assessing the impact of proposed changes by maintaining an overall knowledge of how the systems and applications integrate and / or interface.
  • Guides successful implementation of third-party business solutions by participating in the evaluation, selection and implementation processes.
  • Maximizes utilization of existing systems and assists users by investigating user problems and providing post-implementation user support and/or training.
  • Tests all new business solutions to ensure suitability by developing appropriate testing criteria to confirm the solution meets the business requirements, developing test data with known input-output expectancies, and completing the testing procedure.
  • Enhances the IS department's service and productivity by keeping manager informed of all significant problems relative to own areas of responsibility, as well as broader issues that may arise.
  • Mentor and assist other members of the Digital and Data Services team.
  • Maintains a thorough up-to-date knowledge of IT systems, business applications and productivity tools by taking courses, attending educational seminars, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks.
  • Provide second and third level support; investigate and troubleshoot incidents

Requirements:
  • Committed to building superior wok relationships with team members and business representatives is a must.
  • Good communication skills with ability to express complex ideas, designs and concepts to non-technical audience and business representatives.
  • Professional and level-headed under pressure.
  • Experience with integration and implementation of ecommerce and marketing platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Management Platform and Service Cloud.
  • Experienced with Object Oriented Architecture and Design (OOAD) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Extensive enterprise experience in developing web applications and services, ASP.NET, Web API, C#, XML, JSON, Java, JavaScript
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Database and Services (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) / T-SQL and DB2 as well as a firm understanding of database design: logical / physical modelling, maintenance, security and performance as well as Data Modelling techniques and tools
  • Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading /caching).
  • Experience developing mobile technologies.
  • At least 5 years commercial software development experience
  • Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
