As our Quality Control Co-Op, youwill learn todevelop and improve management systems to exceed customer expectations while optimizing grade outturn and profitability. If there's a flaw in the system, you're the one to find it! Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will check and provide solutions to improve all optimized machine centers, ensure regular monitoring and tracking of machine center performance and analyze the planer lumber grade optimizer decision process.You will also participate inimprovement initiatives to help raise quality awareness and training for all levels of the organization, knowingthe biggest room in the world is the room for improvement!

In a perfect world, you are currently enrolled in mechanical engineering, wood products processing or a related field's co-op program and are eager to learn. Industrial experience would certainly emphasize your application but is not needed to apply.
