What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will provide support, advice, and coaching to Integrated Regional Vice Presidents (IRVPs), Community Managers, and Branch Managers in Manitoba South, with the objective of building leadership skills, capability, and overall effectiveness. You will integrate, embed, and sustain National Office and Regional Office strategic initiatives enabling the delivery of superior employee and client experiences. Through performance coaching to provide differentiated financial advice you will support the delivery of positive shareholder value.

Your territory will include Manitoba South markets. This position will require occasional overnight trips, as well as occasional weekend work. Preference is for this role to be based in Manitoba South, but Hiring Manager is willing to consider applicants based in other locations in Manitoba. This role will also require the successful candidate to allocate a portion of dedicated time to provide Regional Enablement Support for the MSNWO Region.

What will you do?
  • Build coaching capability of Integrated Market leaders to advance our advisors' capability in delivering multi-channel client access, exceptional client experience (Top Box), and financial advice that is meaningful, memorable, and client centric
  • Provide advice and guidance to leaders in the delivery and integration of One RBC partnering, with an emphasis on teamwork to meet our clients' financial goals. This includes extending client relationships by introducing them to the right partner at the right time
  • Responsible for providing advice and counsel to Regional Manager, Advisor Enablement, RVP and branch leaders to support achievement of a multi-channel Market plan by coaching to growth, retention and acquisition
  • Coach leaders to accelerate focus on contact management disciplines, maximizing advice and value for each client contact
  • Responsible for the delivery of effective one on one/group coaching and training to effectively use tools and calculators to support the delivery of value added advice to our clients
  • Collaborate with partners to meet Market and Regional objectives through the utilization of National Office support including: RBC Learning Services, RBC Asset Management, Business Enablement etc.

  • Strong business acumen, planning, and implementation capabilities with knowledge/experience across Personal Banking; including leadership, advisor roles and operational expertise
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Strong impact and influence competencies with the ability to build partnership with multiple stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking, ability to align strategy to execution, ability to prioritize for greatest impact
  • CSC/IFIC and post-secondary degree or diploma an asset
  • PFP/CFP or progress toward designation an asset
