What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you will:
• Lead and manage large, complex projects with onshore/offshore teams to deliver Compliance Technology projects, ensuring required levels of excellence and alignment with Deloitte's methodology. This includes planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget and may include acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
• As part of the leadership team, advise clients on the design and optimization of controls utilizing a general knowledge of business processes, risk management, and technology. This involves understanding the client's business and advising on best practices in compliance technology.
• Demonstrate expertise for ensuring that the clients technology systems are in line with regulatory requirements. This involves understanding various regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy laws, and ensuring that the company's systems are compliant.
• Be involved in the development of strategies to manage compliance - this will include leading a team of compliance professionals, providing them with guidance and support, and ensuring that they have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively to provide guidance on the development of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure that the client practices are in line with regulatory requirements.

About the team

Deloitte's Risk Advisory practice advises organizations on how to effectively mitigate risk and make informed and intelligent risk decisions around business processes, technology and operations. Our Risk Advisory business is expanding as we increasingly are asked to help organizations adapt and respond to new risks and take advantage of new opportunities presented by digital technology and the internet.

Within our Risk Advisory's-Digital Controls-Risk Technology team we have a pool of dedicated professionals with expertise in the design and implementation of risk and compliance solutions in several technologies. We gather requirements, design, and oversee the build and implementation of these technology solutions to manage our client's risks. As a Deloitte Compliance Technology Senior Manager, the individual will have a wide range of responsibilities that involve leading and managing technology-related compliance projects, advising clients on compliance issues, and ensuring that the company's technology systems are in line with regulatory requirements.

To qualify for the role you must have:
• Minimum 8+ years in business or technical management of requirements and project delivery in roles such as Business Consultant, Business Development, Pre-sales, or Project/Program Manager with ServiceNow, Archer, or another leading IRM/GRC/Compliance solution.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying Compliance Technology implementations.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in delivering complex technical projects.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Design Lead or Solution Architect.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience with Compliance use-cases/modules, for instance, Regulatory Obligations/Regulatory Change Management, compliance risk assessments, compliance monitoring, policy management, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in leading QA and guiding user acceptance testing (UAT) within projects.
• Strong communication skills, including report writing, challenging, investigative, influencing, and presenting to senior management and in formal committee settings.
• Robust problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make independent decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven ability and experience in coaching, counseling, and guiding other team members.
• Demonstrate strong connections in the market to support growth of the practice
• Experience working across various stakeholder groups, including end users, functional teams, operations, infrastructure, etc., to transfer knowledge and resolve problems.
• Proven track record in supporting client pursuits and business development efforts, including preparing proposals and leading presentations to senior executives.
• Demonstrated ability to build long-term business relationships with senior client personnel and executives through engagements and networking in professional organizations.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $231,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
