AWS IoT SiteWise is a fast growing multidisciplinary team addressing industrial customer needs to transform physical operations into self-learning autonomous systems, through a combination of distributed software engineering, edge computing, and applied research. The AWS IoT SiteWise Edge allows industrial customers to collect, process, and visualize data from industrial automation systems on-premises. With SiteWise Edge, you can minimize latency for local applications and ensure they continue to get the data they need even if the connection to the cloud becomes unavailable.
Industrial systems are the new high tech. Physical operations generate petabytes of data across increasingly dynamic processes and require 1000s of sophisticated multi-variate decisions a second. We believe that democratizing advanced process analytics and the IoT technologies that convert physical state to digital measurements, will fuel a new dynamic, diverse manufacturing sector to provide interesting jobs, products and a robust distributed economic engine.
We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager that are passionate about driving continuous improvement in a truly agile environment. We work closely with customers, deliver features with high frequency, and can pivot on a dime when needed. We work closely with many other AWS teams to deliver highly innovative solutions for the industrial edge. We expect you to drive various improvement campaigns working with professionals in many different domains including Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance along with high visibility to senior leaders at AWS.
In this role, you will have ownership and autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions, along with the ability to drive significant impact on the customer experience as well as the business. You will focus on customers and apply your passion for the cloud, the edge, and for the business and technology impacts that Industrial IoT represents. You will bring a unique combination of technical, analytical, and business skills; bridging these together to drive scalable and capital efficient solutions. You will frequently juggle competing priorities, handle ambiguity, and dive deep to understand diverse product portfolios and customer requirements.

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in technical program/project/product management, engineering, or related roles.
  • BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Studies, or related fields.


  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Studies, or related work.
  • Prior experience managing complex technical programs or engineering deliverables.
  • Knowledge of cloud and edge computing architecture and services.
  • Ability to communicate in writing clearly, succinctly, and in a data-driven fashion.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, balancing strategic focuses with operational challenges.
  • Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
