As the largest geographical school division in Manitoba, we are fortunate to be part of numerous rural and remote communities. This allows us to provide rich opportunities to our students, including a wide variety of outdoor educational activities, travel to new and sometimes remote parts of the province, and participation in inclusive school events.
Our teachers and staff have the unique opportunity to live and work in one of our many culturally unique communities set in beautiful locations, and have access to outdoor activities such as fishing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking, and bird watching. We strive to create cultural activities and programs that enhance the knowledge of our students and their awareness of their own and other cultures, through a blend of traditional and innovative learning which reflects the needs and aspirations of each area.
