Experienced underground electricians required to join growing team, $38.60 p/h + allowances and benefits
Your new company
This well-established company prides themselves on their strong team environment and working conditions they provide to their staff. Due to an internal shift within the team they are now looking for another underground electrician to join their team. This mine is based in the beautiful area of Northern Manitoba and would require you to relocation to this community.
Your new role
As an underground electrician you will be reporting into the Electrical Foreman and be working 7 on 7 off shifts. Your daily duties will include a mix of new construction, trouble shooting on machinery including PLC work, motors, generators, radios etc. You will be working in a team environment but it is essential that you are comfortable working unsupervised. As an experienced underground electrician you may also be called upon to help train junior staff as well.
What you'll need to succeed
It is vital that you hold your journeyman qualification and have at least 3+ years' experience working in an underground mining environment. A positive attitude towards health and safety and a proactive attitude is essential to be considered for this role. This position does require relocation to the local community on a permanent capacity.
