Job Summary

Working in an IT Help Desk role is really about being the person people rely on when something is not working. From experience, it is not just about fixing issues, but also about explaining things in a way that makes sense to the user. In this role, you will be helping employees or clients troubleshoot problems, guiding them through solutions, and making sure issues are resolved or properly escalated.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to support requests through phone, email, or chat
  • Troubleshoot common technical issues related to computers, software, and accounts
  • Walk users through solutions step by step in a clear and patient way
  • Escalate more complex technical problems to higher-level support teams
  • Document issues and resolutions in the system
  • Follow up when needed to make sure problems are fully resolved
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of computers, systems, and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills, especially when explaining technical issues
  • Ability to stay patient and professional under pressure
  • Comfortable using support tools and ticketing systems
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Previous experience helps, but a willingness to learn is just as important
