Job Description:

We're looking for a Marketing Technology Product Owner to shape the future of our marketing and advertising platforms, specifically for our insurance business. This is a senior strategic role where you'll own the roadmap for our core MarTech and AdTech stack, with a primary focus on Salesforce, Adobe and advertising platforms like Google and Meta.

You'll be the crucial link between our business goals and technical solutions. You'll translate marketing needs into actionable user stories, guide a dedicated agile team, and ensure we're building capabilities that drive customer engagement and business growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and champion the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for our marketing and advertising technology platforms. Stay current with industry trends and bring a sense of curiosity to build a best-in-class stack.
  • Product Ownership: Serve as the strategic Product Owner for agile team(s), guiding them to deliver high-impact capabilities. Prioritize the product backlog, write clear user stories, work hand-in-hand with engineers, designers, data scientists & architecture, solution designers to deliver high-impact features.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work effectively within a complex matrix organization, aligning diverse stakeholders across marketing, technology, line of business, legal, and compliance. Synthesize complex technical and strategic deliverables into simple, clear terms for executive-level audiences.
  • Requirements, Data & Innovation: Gather and refine business requirements. Use your deep knowledge of data principles to build solutions that enable robust analytics, personalization, and powerful marketing campaigns. Proactively identify and assess new technologies that can enhance our capabilities.
  • Adoption & Enablement: Ensure the full value of our tools is realized. Support user adoption and training, and work to help teams utilize the tools to their maximum potential.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a focus on marketing or advertising technology, preferably within a large enterprise or the insurance business
  • Proven experience with core MarTech platforms: Salesforce (Marketing Cloud, Financial Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, Data Cloud etc.); Adobe (Experience Cloud: Analytics, Target, AEM), Google & Meta Marketing Platform (Analytics, Ads, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of data principles, data models, and how to leverage data to create powerful marketing solutions.
  • Proven experience working in and navigating a complex matrix organization, with a strong ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex deliverables into simple, compelling narratives for executive-level audiences.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
  • A strong foundation in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile or Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO).
  • Knowledge of Insurance business, Bank Act, Privacy regulations.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry like financial services.
  • Knowledge of CDPs, DMPs, or other advanced data technologies.
  • Certified in Marketing capabilities from Salesforce, Adobe, Google or Meta
